As a Painting Crew Supervisor, you will lead and manage a team of painters to ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet our company’s high standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of painting techniques, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of painting projects, from initial planning to final inspection.
- Manage and coordinate a team of painters, ensuring they follow project specifications and deadlines.
- Inspect surfaces to determine the proper preparation and painting techniques required.
- Collaborate with clients to confirm project details, timelines, and color preferences.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed on job sites and that the team uses personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep detailed records of job progress, materials used, and any issues encountered during the project.
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members.
- Communicate with company management about project updates, staffing needs, and any challenges.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in painting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- In-depth knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both with the team and with clients.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
- You will work on a variety of residential, commercial, and restoration projects.
- Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, often on ladders or scaffolding.
